With a full year in the rearview since the release of their 1126 Records full length debut in Life Cast In Glass, Colorado aggressors Mouth For War look to build of their auspicious start with the unveiling of the first follow-up material since.

Sharpening their steel in the months since the release, the band has hit the pavement with serious intentions, launching a full scale assault in the form of incendiary live shows. In the past year, the band has shared the stage with likes of The Acacia Strain, a stretch of dates with Tennessee terrorizers Chamber, a triumphant appearance at LDB Fest in Louisville and their own run of headlining dates to list just a few.

Operating at their creative peak, well-oiled from the routine of the road, Mouth for War has emerged from the studio with a standalone single in "Reshaped" that serves as their first delivery of new material in over a year. Characterized by the band's harness of horsepower and genuine catharsis that makes their sound so convincing, the track underscores why the band are regarded as such prospects despite their relatively short tenure.

The band's frontman Trae Roberts spoke to the personal significance of the track. "This is our first new material drop since the release of our debut album Life Cast In Glass, which turned one year old just two weeks ago. This hard hitting track is dedicated to the life of my late sister, Sophie, and touches on themes of loss, grief, and mental health."

Since their introduction in 2019 with the EP An Ear Kept to the Ground, Mouth For War have secured their footing, hailed by the underground while cresting the awareness of the bigger heavy music community.
