The Sharptone Records introduction features contemporary collaborators Andy Cizek and Stephen Taranto.

With a pedigree that includes lengthy stretches with metalcore outfit Glass Cloud, mathcore cult heroes The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza, a formative run with progressive metal band Monuments and a current tenure six-year tenure with clobber-core specialists Emmure, guitarist Joshua Travis has amassed a varied collection of credentials.

Having spent more than a decade asserting his range and versatility as a musical journeyman, it makes sense that the next step on his artistic progression would be to strike out with a project all his own.

Enlisting the assistance of like-minded musicians and collaborators in vocalist Andy Cizek (Monuments, Makari, and Wvnder) and virtuoso guitarist Stephen Taranto, Travis has officially made his solo debut with the unveiling of the Sharptone Records-released single, "Web of Lies".

The track's relentless pace skips any subtleties and instantly goes for the throat. A caustic combination of Cizek's menacing vocal venom, in tandem with Travis' corrosive, chaotic guitars translates to the kind of introduction that doesn't ask for you attention, it demands it.

Of the single that ushers in Travis official venture as a solo artist, the musician shared the kind of enthisiasm that could only come from knowing you have an absolute banger locked and loaded. "This is so exciting for me! 'Web Of Lies' is my first solo release with label backing. I couldn’t be more stoked. AND I get to kick things off with Andy and Stephen?! (Laughs) sorry I’m losing it over here. And to think... this is just the beginning."
